Our second day of our holiday was spent mainly in Truro and on a train. We left Penzance fairly early and as were passing through we went to a Cornwall Methodist District synod in Truro. We met in Truro Methodist church, the front of which is used as Warleggan Bank in the Poldark television programme. The meetings were quite challenging and we were glad that we went, we learnt some things and came away with plenty to ponder! We then caught the 1630 train to London and eventually arrived at the Premier Inn near the Olympic Park at 2230. We were weary by this time and were glad to settle in.
