It was misty and drizzly (typical Cornwall) when we awoke fairly early to start our journey to Poole. We breakfasted and made our way to the station for a 0900 train. Alan and Heather came to say goodbye and we wished them well on their holiday. The train left just about on time and as we travelled through Cornwall the mist thickened and dispersed several times. It eventually cleared in Devon and from then on it was overcast. We changed trains for the first time at Exeter and from there we caught our second train to Westbury. The journey

Great to see you've made a good start to your hols, trains aside. I've read about the RNLI centre and its hotel facilities and wondered about a visit sometime, I believe they also offer tours around the training facilities. ,
